Show any available variant of your product to your customers - our technology makes it possible to configure products in a realistic 3D view within the browser, even on mobile devices. Present product variants, options, and functionalities on a clearly arranged configuration screen, the focus of which is the photographic image or 3D visualization of the configured item.
The complete configuration can take place within one screen, without the user having to switch back and forth between selection lists, option descriptions and material pages. On-demand drop-down menus, overlays and scroll lists with preview images can be displayed and hidden at any time and automatically fade back into the background once the selection has been made.
The programming is based entirely on JavaScript, canvas technology is used to display the control elements and WebGL technology is used for the 3D rendering. As a result, the planners run in all common browsers on all systems - from desktop PCs and Macs, to laptops and MacBooks, to mobile devices (iOS and Android).
We put great importance on an intelligently controlled configuration process that enables the user to select their desired configuration quickly, easily and intuitively. To this end, we use the following UI concepts (not all of the configurators we create have all of these features):
For items with multiple material variants or surface colors, these can be exchanged quickly and directly in the current view, without intermediate steps via separate selection pages. The currently configured product display always remains in the user's focus.
In addition to the visual appearance of an item, it is also possible to adjust the structure in real time - frame elements and table top dimensions can be extended or shortened within the limits specified by the manufacturer, using sliders for example, either continuously or in fixed increments.
Not only the items themselves can be configured, but also combinations or groups (sets of 4 chairs, etc.) can be put together quickly and easily. Configurators for individual items can also be implemented as sub-modules of complex planning programs.
When configuring several items, the user interface is implemented in the same way as the planning programs, using drag&drop and collision detection, so that no incorrect configurations can be made by the user.
The user is only offered possible or sensible configuration variants - in the example, the available colors depending on the selected waste bin and the matching items for the selected environment (bathroom, office).

SHOW APPLICATION EXAMPLESIn addition to these user facing frontend functionalities for a simple and intuitive configuration process, further background processes can be integrated "under the hood" to ensure the most comprehensive and seamless connection of the configurator to the website in which it is embedded:
The item's data displayed in the configurator (description, dimension, price...) can be accessed by a shop system server. Completed configurations can be transferred back to the shop system / the shopping cart of the website.
The configuration programs continuously save the current configuration locally to the user's computer in the background. If the browser is closed and the page is visited again later, the last saved configuration is automatically restored, as if the user had never left the page.
For the filter functions and the display of the possible configuration options, we either create an internal parameter database or connect an existing one to the configurator.
For a printout, an HTML page can be created based on any template which, in addition to the image of the configuration, also contains a company logo, a list of settings, the price or any other additional information required.
A configuration can also be sent to the host by email if a shop system connection is not possible or desired. All settings are recorded and the configuration can be read in and displayed again on the host system.
